Instagram, Facebook und Pintrest

Wer selber auf Instagram, Facebook oder Pintrest postet kennt das Probelm: Hat man auf der einen Plattform schnell das Filmchen hochgeladen, klemmt der gleiche Film auf der anderen Plattform und will sich einfach nicht publizieren lassen.

In roter Schrift wird einem verkündet, dass das Bild nur «im vorgesehenen Format» gepostet werden kann. «Und das wäre dann?», fragt man sich genervt, nachdem man minutenlang auf das Rendern des Videos gewartet hat.

Auch unterscheidet Instagram zwischen Videos, die unter einer Minute sind und solchen, die über einer Minute sind. Erste kann man im Feed posten, die zweite Variante muss man in IGTV posten (oder auf eine Minute kürzen).

So oder so ähnlich ist des Öfteren gegangen, bis ich mir schliesslich alle Formate und die Varianten aufgeschrieben habe.

Those who post on Instagram, Facebook or Pintrest know the problem: If you quickly upload a movie on one platform, the same movie gets stuck on the other platform and simply doesn’t want to be published.

You are told in red letters that the painting can only be posted “in the intended format”. “And that would be?”, you ask yourself annoyed after waiting minutes for the video to be rendered.

Instagram also distinguishes between videos that are under a minute and those that are over a minute. The first one can be posted in the feed, the second one has to be posted in IGTV (or shortened to one minute).

This or something like this happend to me several times until I finally wrote down all formats and the variants.
