A muse kiss is great!………but unfortunately the muse doesn’t kiss that often.If you want to be a painter, you have to paint. This sounds banal, but behind it is what you often don’t want to hear. To keep the artistic process going, it is important to paint something every day. Even if the inspiration is far away and the muse is sitting lazily in the corner and does not think about kissing you. Some smart guy once said that inspiration comes along very rarely, but when it does, it must catch you working. That’s why I try to put at least a few strokes on my current painting or make a sketch every day. Sometimes I only get to rearrange the chalks or read in the Pastel Journal. Basically it doesn’t matter what you do. The main thing is that it keeps you in the topic “art”.What are your “tricks” to keep you in topic?

Ein Musenkuss ist toll!……….aber leider küsst die Muse nicht so oft.

Wer ein Maler sein möchte, der muss malen. Das klingt banal, aber dahinter steckt, was man oft nicht wahr haben möchte. Um den künstlerischen Prozess am Laufen zu halten, ist es wichtig jeden Tag etwas zu malen. Auch wenn die Inspiration fern ist und die Muse faul in der Ecke hockt und nicht daran denkt dich zu küssen.

Irgendein schlauer Kopf hat mal gesagt, dass die Inspiration sehr selten vorbeikommt, aber wenn sie kommt, muss sie dich beim Arbeiten erwischen. Aus diesem Grund versuche ich jeden Tag mindestens ein paar Striche auf mein aktuelles Bild zu setzen oder eine Skizze zu machen. Manchmal komme ich auch nur dazu die Kreiden wieder zu ordnen oder im Pastel Journal zu lesen. Im Grunde genommen ist es egal, was du machst. Hauptsache es hält dich im Thema «Kunst».
